Today’s poll from Fox News (yeah, I said from Fox News) had all the usual type of questions (it had Hillary ahead 44%-38%). It also included, as polls often do, a few ‘descriptive’ type of questions (e.g. experienced?, honest?, prepared for office?, cares about people like me?, etc.).
This is the first time, however, that I have seen some of these included.
Respondents were asked:
“For each of the following words and phrases, please tell me if you think it describes Hillary Clinton.”
“For each of the following words and phrases, please tell me if you think it describes Donald Trump.”
SENSIBLE
Hillary: 54% YES - 44% NO
Trump: 35% YES - 63% NO
HOT-HEADED
Hillary: 35% YES - 63% NO
Trump: 89% YES - 10% NO
OBNOXIOUS
Hillary: 45% YES - 53% NO
Trump: 83% YES - 16% NO
I did not make this up (LOL) ..... and it is not satire from “The Onion” (I checked!!).
This Fox News Poll was conducted June 26-28, 2016..... 1017 registered voters..... margin of error of +/- 3%.
